First Camping Trip: Lake Livingston

Jackson "enjoying" our hike this morning

We made delicious smores and now our clothes smell like campfire

Jackson and Ralph sawed logs all night long, while the noises of the outdoors kept me up thinking of wolves and horror movies.

Jackson loved watching the fire, if you can look really close i tried to capture the firelight in his eyes.

Me and my little man at the beautiful Lake Livingston. (it was very pretty, but it stunk)

This was Jackson's first time camping and Ralph and I's first time camping together. We went to Lake Livingston State Park, we camped, cooked out, and hiked. It was very mellow and relaxing.

Ten Things We Like About Our Move To Houston:

  1. Ralph enjoys his new job

  2. We live 10 minutes away from his work

  3. There are 3 other couples on our street that go to church with us

  4. 80+ miles of biking trails around Kingwood

  5. Neighborhood pool

  6. We don't live apart

  7. Getting to see some of Ralph's family more

  8. I get to stay home with Jackson

  9. We get to make new friends

  10. Ralph's 9-80 work week that means we get a 3 day weekend every other week

It was sad to leave Owasso, but we are blessed and trying to make the most of our new opportunities!

Neighborhood pool?! Amazing! I suppose you will need it. Can't wait to visit and see everything.

Those are the cutest camping pics! You guys are brave to venture out with little Jackson. (Although I'm positive he has many more camping trips, hikes, marathons, etc in his future!)
